Firefly Inflatable Kayak Pros

This kayak inflates fully in about 8-10 minutes, depending on the pump that you use. If you have a deflator on your pump it deflates quickly as well.
The Firefly is easily stored when not in use. It folds up small enough to fit inside of a duffel bag.
It can safely be used by a person who weighs up to 250 pounds. If you are larger, there are other inflatable kayaks available for you so that you can still enjoy kayaking.
Last but not least, it is durable enough to use throughout many seasons, provided you take care of your inflatable kayak.

Cons

Advanced Elements Inflatable Kayak Pump

Available In Foot Pump

Some water and small insects may get into the area between inner and outer layers. However most people who own it say that it is not a major downfall for them. You will need a pump to inflate the Firefly kayak. Some people recommend that you purchase the Advanced Elements pump because it is a guaranteed fit.
Many people suggest that you use it mostly on lakes or small rivers with a gentle current because even as good as it is, it does not handle tracking very well. It is also relatively easy to tip over, with the chance of this further increasing if you are using it in the ocean.

A lot of users recommend choosing a larger style kayak if you are larger than 5’10” or so. Otherwise, you will be cramped up in the 7ft kayak and your back will not be supported very well.
